Its Halloween 2k17 and although this is the time of the year where we host costume parties, engage in ‘trick-or-treat’, watch horror films, visit haunted houses and carve lanterns out of pumpkins these are not the things that bring fright to this celebrated night. Nope! It’s the spooks and the ghouls that haunt us on a daily. What are those you frightening ask. Those are the people who make up your inner circle that disguise themselves as friends. The ones who have invested in a lifelong costume of being fake, haunting, and toxic. Costumed everyday as your loyal, day one, and ace, but daily making a gory plan to destroy the very ground which you stand. Their everyday goal is to play ‘trick-or-treat’ with your thoughts, feelings, and your trust. It’s time to stop buying the candy and supplying these childish fools with sweets and fun.
