All day I have been amazed at God’s blessing over my life. He has done many great works and will continue to do so for as long as I live. Too many times, man puts his trust and following in man. We idol over celebrities and fads; forgetting that God never goes out of style and isn’t a one hit wonder. He is the studio, the lyrics, track, the singer, the billboard top 100, the red carpet look, and forever style icon. He is simply all that!
God’s work has been strategic. He has placed me in the right places at the right times. He pulled me away from things (kicking and screaming) when I thought I knew the way. Even when I decided to guide God, he patiently waited and humbly took over when I created storms that left me on the opposite side of right. He never once rubbed it in my face when I was wrong. He has done some great things even when I didn’t think I deserved them. He knew the plan prior to me even realizing the way. He’s just good like that!
So tonight or whenever you read this….give God some praise for all the great things he has done and will do. Let him know that he will always be appreciated. Let him know that he is God and God alone. Claiming that no man, thing, or premise will stand above him. His work is impeccable!
