Known as the Queen of Soul and the vocal legend who used her talent for the sake of social and racial justice. Our Queen played a significant role in shaping the black identity through her music and her work in the movement. Using her catchy lyrics and funky beats to not only move your feet, but to motivate us all to take a stance until equality was complete. Her voice powered through hard times, but has left an indelible mark in history and music royalty.
Miss Franklin we Thank You for teaching us how to R-E-S-P-E-C-T ourselves and others. We now have a catalog of great music that will always be with us….her legacy shall forever reign supreme.
