Trump in Church! “Saints we may be in TROUBLE”.

Let the church say Amen and they did towards God and the root of evil himself Donald Trump. Church is the place where people come to worship, but instead was used as a political arena for a meeting with the people to sway us his way. I say “NO WAY”. Getting in good with the Black Voter doesn’t begin and end in the church; it starts in the community and on the streets. The mere fact that Donald Trump believed that his appearance at Great Faith Ministries International was going to prove his connection with the Black Voter was just plan ole coonery.

“I fully understand that the Africancampaign_2016_trump-577ad-3049-American community has suffered from discrimination and that there are many wrongs that must still be made right,” Mr. Trump said, adding: “For any who are hurting: Things are going to turn around. Tomorrow will be better.” Why it is that tomorrow turns into never and politicians run in hide in that beautiful White House when the issues in the Black Community get greater. I can only speak for mOOdee, but I don’t see Trump returning to the streets of another Black community whether win or lose. All of this was staged for the media and a way to gain voter support from Blacks who are torn between a liar and a fraud. He won their approval through the soft amens and all the clapping to the good ole gospel songs sung by the choir. Why do we accept this?

As I sat and watched live stream of the event, I became very annoyed that Trump strategically invited his “Black” friends to join him at Great Faith Ministries and not one his campaign pitbulls were present. He sat amongst the names of Dr. Ben Carson and Omarosa Manigault to try and fit in to the predominately Black congregation. A great tactic to make us believe he is with us, but rarely does he trust us. If you pay close attention to the video he frequently leans over to Manigault for approval and looks around to make sure that he is making the proper adjustments to his ever harsh demeanor. Now we see the religious and sanctified Trump. Let’s call him Senior Rev. Trump.

Why am I upset? I know you were waiting to hear my reasoning’s and to some my reactions may be a little harsh. Donald Trump has been nothing but negative towards the rights and protection of the Black race. He has tormented tenants and labeled Blacks as nothing more than animals. By the way, did you know that he has been sued several times for not renting to Blacks and yet he wants you to vote for TRUMP.  Right here in my backyard, Trump disparaged his black casino employees as “lazy” in vividly bigoted terms, according to a 1991 book by John O’Donnell, a former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.trump-plaza-atlantic-city He also believes that we have nothing to lose, because we are already a hopeless cause and yet you believe that your attendance in church will somehow build our trust in you. Funny thing is trust is given to God and Trump as only man doesn’t desire that honor after he downplays the presence of minorities and feels that we are in need of his saving grace. Hold the collection plate, because I don’t believe in man and won’t support the game. The facts are facts and my opinion really doesn’t matter, but when you do the research you will find that his attendance in church was just something to cause chatter.

I hate that I had to make this about race, but we are tired of being the race that everyone discriminates against, but politicians lean on to win the race.  We have real issues and need a real President with a desire to really help transform communities instead of help increase their Black Vote. Leave the church as the church and not a space for political disgrace. Trump thanks for the respecting the church, but that alone won’t help you win this race.
