We are the lovers of materialistic value. Placing an exaggerated amount of emphasis on what we buy, the price, and how it looks to others. We critique the way our materials will look to others and how others might value us after noticing our ignorant lust over the shallow need for things. Yet, we lack the need to value self; placing a priceless price tag on our lives that will make the need for materialistic value no more. Instead of seeking and finding the time to do the work of self value, we buy, buy, and buy things that build our value to the world; the unstable, materialistic, foundation-less value. The value that keeps us shallow and an empty glass of self-appreciation.
DEVALUED. For so long we have devalued ourselves. Ignoring the endless possibilities of living life as our true self and in the abundance of happiness it could reveal. Instead we have devalued ourselves by living meaninglessly. Going on the day to day hustle of just being normal instead of extraordinary, being comfortable with being you. Too many times we have devalued ourselves by ignoring self, being vulnerable to exploring self, and being fearless to be ourselves.
We hide authentic existence with the desired labels of instant gratification that blindly tell us that we are great, wonderful, and so on. Everyday thought-out plans to be someone or something that we are not to only be appreciated by strangers whose only value is the push of the heart on the gram. Many of us adore the sentiment and drown deep in our pity because we know that we don’t fully value ourselves the way our photo so falsely did. We gather the likes like blocks to build our weak wall to block out all we dare not to show the world.
INVALID. For many of us, life is valuable. It is the excitement of living a new day and anticipating tomorrow, but for that same group the true meaning of value has been lost. We value the things that should be INVALID; the things that have no significance on the person we aim to be. We adore the gift of life, but fill our psyche and space with things that are invalid. Decreasing our value and making what we thought was so valuable, invalid. It’s like we have tricked ourselves into believing that others won’t see the imperfections that we covered up with invalid, unjust, untruths of self. Living in the land of invalid we have become prey to the world and the overzealous need to be valued, based on the surface. Bridging a superficial need for things to an invalid purpose of being; which will collapse once the bolts of insecurity break free and the foundation cracks, because it was never build on valid foundation.
OVERVALUE. What happened to valuing yourself the good, the bad, and the in between. What happened to accepting your current status and living in the mess that is your life? You know a beautiful rose can be grown from the concrete, so why are you scared to start planting the seeds. Why have we become so caught up with overvaluing what others see as real life as being evident of failure of misfortune? Stop placing value on what others believe or say about your life. Overvaluing opinions over facts and depreciation of self for untruths of others. Value yourself and stop depending on stuff or people to place value on you. Strip away the price tags people have placed on your life and the value that limits your life. $100 for those thoughts that weren’t yours, $500 for the belief that materials make you better, and $1,000,000 for letting others force you into believing that you could never be true to you. Cut the price tags and begin to overvalue YOU and not the valuing of others opinions. There are no more deals or discounts on your value; the sale is OVER.

EVALUATION. Peel off the layers and reveal the true essence that has lacked value for so long. Begin to self evaluate the who, the what, t
he how, and the whys of your life. Leave no stone turned and begin to adjust your value meter, because it should always be on 100. Your tank should constantly be on full despite what the situation was or is at the moment; your sense of value should be as stronger as your desire to move past the superficial and into a world of carefree. Learn all that you value in yourself and discovery the hidden aspects that you so purposely hidden. Release yourself of the price tags and become an item already sold back to it’s original owner….YOU! Only you can place value on your life and you should always be priceless.
